Terms of the evaluation
Version dpdp-2026-10
These terms apply to the Sharatun trader evaluation (the "evaluation") operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [CIN], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("we"). By creating an account you accept them.
1. What the evaluation is
- The evaluation is a simulated trading environment used to assess trading skill for possible engagement as a trader with us. It is not a game of chance, a contest with prizes, an investment product, or a brokerage service.
- All trading is simulated with virtual capital. No order is ever sent to an exchange, no securities are bought or sold, and no money is invested, won or lost.
- Prices shown are platform-adjusted ("corrected") from market data and are the same for every participant. They may differ from exchange prices and must not be used for real trading decisions.
- Nothing in the evaluation is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and resident in India, and sign up with your own Indian mobile number. During the closed beta an invite code is required.
- One account per person. Do not share your account, sign-in codes or invite codes.
- [Any further eligibility rules, e.g. not being an employee of a broker or exchange, to be decided.]
3. Challenges and rules
- Each challenge has published rules: starting virtual capital, loss limits (daily, total and per position), position and order limits, the profit target, the minimum number of trading days, a consistency rule, and the maximum duration. They are shown before you start and fixed for that challenge.
- Breaking a loss limit ends the challenge immediately. Positions are squared off automatically at the published time each day.
- Rules, charges and price adjustments can change for new challenges. A challenge you have started keeps the rules it began with.
- Simulated brokerage and statutory charges are deducted as published, to reflect real trading costs.
- Results are calculated by the platform from a complete, tamper-proof record of your orders and the prices used. If you dispute a result, write to us within [7] days; we review the record and our decision is final.
4. Fair use
- Do not try to exploit the simulation instead of trading: for example, latency or price-adjustment arbitrage, using several accounts, automated order flooding, or coordinating with others. We may end challenges, block accounts and disregard results where we find such behaviour.
- Do not attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
5. Outcome
- Passing a challenge makes you eligible to be considered by our team. It does not guarantee an offer, an engagement, or any payment. Any engagement is under a separate written agreement.
- [Fees: the beta is free. If challenge fees are introduced, they and their refund terms will be published before you pay.]
6. Availability
The evaluation depends on market-data feeds and may be unavailable or interrupted. When data is missing, prices are marked STALE and orders are refused. We are not liable for missed opportunities in the simulation. [Limitation of liability clause to be drafted by counsel.]
7. Ending your account
You can stop at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy notice). We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
8. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at [CITY] have jurisdiction. Questions: [support email]. Grievances: [grievance officer name, email].
